Find Food In response to rising food insecurity In 2023, through a network of nearly 600 hunger relief partners, the distributed more than 33.8 million pounds of food in our 22 county service area. Make a Donation When you sponsor a Food Bank event, your organization becomes a partner in the fight against hunger. Events The works with more than 600 Hunger Relief Partners to distribute food throughout 22 counties. There are more than 211,000 people struggling with hunger in eastern Michigan. In 2023, the Food Bank distributed over 30 million pounds of food and more than half of that was fresh! 13 million pounds of fresh fruits and vegetables including Michigan produce from more than a dozen farms 3.3 million pounds of dairy products 4.6 million pounds of meat and other proteins We Are Committed How Can You Help? 98% of your contribution goes directly to food and feeding programs. Had a wonderful opportunity for The Leadership Group LLC to partner with the Shelter of Flint for a retreat. Nice accommodations and lunch was delicious.
